Amy Artuso, MPH, CPST-I

Special guest

For more than 25 years Amy Artuso has worked in a variety of roles dedicated to child development, safety and wellness. In April 2021 she was diagnosed with stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) breast cancer. Following a necessary double mastectomy, she underwent chemotherapy and radiation. She has had additional surgeries and continues on long-term oral medications to reduce her chance of recurrence. However, at the time of the release of this podcast we are excited to share she has no evidence of disease (NED).

Amy holds a masters degree in public health and is a 3rd year doctoral student in advanced practice leadership in public health at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL, where she lives with her husband and their four children.
